What you will learn?

Get to Know Phase

It is important to learn about the materials, brushes and mediums basics before you start creating masterpieces. Basically you will learn:

• How fast does this stuff dry?

• Which surfaces I can paint on

• How do I decide which brush is best?

• How do I clean the brush? (Clean…not just rinse LOL)

• How do I load the paint on the brush?

• What do I use to mix the colors?

• How do I mix colors?

• How do I move the brush to push the paint onto the canvas?

Each student is INDIVIDUALLY TAUGHT & starts at their own level.

The instructor, guardian and student will decide upon the class expectations and its materials based on several factors.

This phase will provide general techniques that can be used to create beautiful artworks. Basically you will learn:

• How to blend acrylic paints to create beautiful gradient effects?

• Understanding basic color theory and mixing techniques

• Value scale lessons and artworks

• Painting textures - Wash, Stippling, dry brush, splattering, palette knife, dabbing using different tools.

• Glazing basics

Advanced Phase

Note: you need to sign waiver of indemnity for this phase

This phase is designed for advanced use tools and materials rather than only paints. You will learn:

• How to transfer a sketch to a canvas?

• How to use Schlagmetal/Composition Leaf ?

• Different paint viscosity and it use.

• Texture mediums
